Yuuri’s Bishies

As with every sports anime I’m making the hot guys post. It’s been a long time coming; because Yuri!!! on Ice is something to be celebrated. It’s filled with handsome characters and some of them are gay(!). I don’t think there will be any surprises here.

NB! Since Yuuri belongs with Victor, I won’t be including the compatibility score in this post.

7. Otabek Altin

Otabek is here because he’s handsome, and quirky. He doesn’t fit in with the norm, but that doesn’t matter. He does things his way and he does it while looking hot.

Fall Anime 2016: First Impressions

It’s that time of year again, and this time I am on it! The fall season of 2016 has brought us a series of new anime, some promising and some trash, as per usual. I found that the overall quality is low, but there are a couple of gems between the masses. So here’s a rundown of the shows I’ve seen so far and what I think of them.

All Out!!

allout01

Episodes seen: 1

The two main characters are obnoxious and the art style is an eyesore. I thought I could look past the visuals at least, since I’ve felt this way about every sports anime in the past, but man, I don’t know. The voice acting is a bit off as well. In my experience, sports anime need a lot of warming up to, so I’ll try to stick with it, but I’m honestly not sure this one is going to be that great.

Prediction: 5/10

Cheating Craft

Episodes seen: 1

I don’t. what?

This is the stupidest premise I’ve seen in a long time.

Prediction: 4/10

Dream Festival!

Hinata’s Bishies

It’s time for another list of attractive sports anime characters, and this time I’m pulling out the cast from Haikyuu!! to find the hottest guys. Now, this one is tricky, because there are a lot of characters in this anime. Luckily, all the cute ones are mostly on the Karasuno team itself, so it makes things a bit easier. Without further ado, here are the hottest guys of Haikyuu!!, complete with their compatibility with the main character, Hinata.

#10: Kozume Kenma

kenma-1

I really like Kenma because I can relate to him so much. He’s shy and unsociable, and prefers spending time playing video games rather than seeing his friends. However, his dynamic with the team shows a trust between characters that really speak to the heart. And his friendship with Hinata is adorable!

Compatibility with Hinata: 8/10

Kuroko’s Bishies

There was a time when I didn’t really see the point in sports anime. Then I realised sports anime are full of attractive males and potent shipping ground. And Kuroko no Basket has three full seasons and a lot of male characters. Thus, to celebrate the end of our beloved basketball anime, I have compiled a list of the hottest guys of the show, along with a rating how how well they would go with our main character Kuroko Tetsuya. (Minor spoilers!)

#7: Kagami Taiga (without his shitty eyebrows)

Summer Recommendations!

This post is slightly overdue as we’ve already entered into summer! But, as usual I want to recommend some shows that are good for watching during these summer days. Many of us are out of school and university, and have some extra time to kill, while some are working. Personally, I’m both (: Still, I plan on taking lots of time to catch up on anime I’ve wanted to watch for a long time.

On this list I’m recommending shows that are well suited for a holiday, both short one-cour ones along with some longer ones that require more time to finish. For those of you who read my blog way back when (before it was lost and I had to restart), might recognise some of the shows from last year’s list, but there will be new additions!

Spring Anime 2015: First Impressions

This post is way overdue, I know, but amidst lying in bed worrying about my one exam coming up and bingeing on unhealthy snacks to cope with the stress, anime hasn’t been prioritised. I’m pleasantly surprised by my spring picks though, and finally it looks like we’re getting some decent content. Here are my first impressions.

Winter Season 2015 Review

holiday-divider-transparent

Not many of the Winter titles interested me, so I’ve gone back and watched older shows in the past few months. But among the few that I did decide to try out, there were some crap ones and some clearly worth my time. Let’s begin.
